Fields of interest Robert W. Rich is an Assistant Vice President in the Macroeconomic and Monetary Studies Function at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. His research includes the identification and quantification of sources of business cycle fluctuations, survey-based measures of inflation expectations and inflation uncertainty, the estimation of trend productivity growth, and the development of coincident and leading economic indexes for New York State and New Jersey. Before joining the Bank, he was an assistant professor of economics at Vanderbilt University. He received a B.A. from Fordham University, an M.A. from Northwestern University, and a Ph.D. from Brown University. |
